Introduction:
7 Days to Die is an open world, first person, zombie survival game that was originally released on the PC, but was brought over to the console for new players to enjoy. The game takes place in the fictional county of Navezgane, Arizona some time after a war. You play as a survivor trying to live in a wasteland full of zombies, while having to contend with the elements and managing your personal well-being. The main selling point of the game is building bases and setting traps to survive against hordes of zombies. As far as achievements go, I would say that the developers were pretty lazy in coming up with them, since a lot of the achievements are just increasing amounts of the same thing. Still, the game is pretty enjoyable, especially if you’re playing with other people.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
When you first load up the game, whether it be a single player world or a multiplayer world, the first thing you will want to do is follow the quest guide on the right hand side of the screen. By doing so, you will unlock three achievements that are related to crafting and placing different items. After that you can pretty much work on any achievement that you want, since there are no missable achievements in this game. If you are playing on a single player world, you might want to find some form of shelter that you can use to as a base while you attempt to survive for twenty-one hours.

Multiplayer:
There are only a handful of achievements that require you to play on a multiplayer server, and they’re all very straightforward. The first thing you want to do, if you aren’t worried about making a fortress to defend from other players, is just place that land claim block in your hot bar on the ground to unlock that achievement. Afterwards, if you’re playing on a PvP server or if you’re boosting with other players, just go kill some people for those ridiculous achievements.

Conclusion:
As of yet, this game doesn’t have any glitched or missable achievements, but something to note, is that if you, at any point, set your world to “creative” or activate cheat mode, then it will disable all further achievements that you might have been able to unlock in that world. Just something to keep in mind before you turn that setting on. Other than that, just go out and have fun crafting, building, and killing zombies.

This achievement is pretty straightforward and you will likely unlock it naturally by just playing through the game, especially if you’re the type of person who really likes to go all out when it comes to building bases and fortresses. Alternatively, you can craft Gun Powder, which requires only 1 coal and 1 nitrate powder, both of which you will find in abundance, should you decide to go mining underground.

This achievement is pretty self-explanatory. You basically just need to kill every enemy you come across and after you’ve killed 2500 of them, the achievement will pop. Enemies that count towards this are the following: Zombies, Zombie Dogs, and Zombees (you will see these enemies in the main city of the map, they’re a zombified wasp that will die with 1 shot of pretty much any ranged weapon). This achievement is cumulative across all characters you make so you don’t have to try and get this all in one world.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (15)

    Craft your first Stone Ax

This achievement will likely be one of the first ones that you unlock in the game. To eran it, you simply have to craft a Stone Ax, which requires 2 small stone, 2 plant fibers and 2 wood. Stones you can find scattered about on the ground which you can pick up by pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (16) while looking at them or you can just go hit a rock for about a minute. Plant fibers you get by punching the grass by clicking 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (17) while looking at tall grass. Wood can be obtained by walking up to a tree and pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (18) to punch it.

After you obtain all of this just open you’re crafting menu by tapping 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (19), clicking on the tab at the top left that has the picture of a screwdriver and wrench, selecting Stone Ax, and then pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (20) to start crafting. Once you have crafted the ax, the achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (21)

    Good in the Sack

    10

Place your first bedroll, old bed or king sized bed

This achievement will also be one of the first achievements you’re likely to unlock. For this achievement you will have to either craft or find a bedroll, or craft an old bed or king sized bed. The easiest one to do would be to craft the bedroll. To do so, gather 20 plant fibers by pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (22) while looking at some tall grass. After you have 20, open your crafting menu by tapping 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (23), click on the first tab that has the icon of a campfire, select Bedroll, and then press 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (24) to start crafting.

Once you have crafted the bedroll, either drag it to your hotbar at the bottom of the screen or click in on the 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (25) to quickmove it to your hotbar. After it's on your hotbar, equip it in your hand and place it on the ground with 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (26). The achievement should unlock after you have placed the item.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (27)

    Playing Doctor

    10

Stop a critical bleed-out with a bandage, first aid bandage or first aid kit

In order to get this achievement you have to use a bandage, first aid bandage, or a first aid kit to heal yourself while you are bleeding. When you make a new character, you already start off with a first aid bandage, so all that is left to do is to start bleeding. The easiest way to make yourself bleed is to loot around until you find either a glass pane or crushed glass (if you find a glass pane then you can make it into crushed glass).

Once you have your crushed glass you can select it by pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (28) while your cursor is over it and then you can eat it to make yourself bleed. After you start bleeding, use the bandage and the achievement should unlock after you've stop bleeding.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (29)

    Handy Man

    10

    Craft your first wood frame

This achievement is fairly simple as all you have to do is craft a wood frame; it doesn’t even require you to place it or reinforce it. To craft one all you have to do is get some wood, which if you still have your Stone Ax from earlier, won’t take long. It requires 10 Wood to make 1 Wood Frame. To gather wood, just go up to a tree and hit it by pressing 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (30) until you have 10 pieces. After you have the wood, open your crafting menu by tapping 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (31), click on the icon in the top left that looks like a house, select Wood Frame, and then press 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (32) to start crafting. The achievement will unlock once the frame is finished crafting.

    15

    Place your first Land Claim

This achievement requires you to be playing on a multiplayer server, whether it be your own privately hosted server or a public server that you've joined. When you log into the server you will have a "Land Claim" block in your hotbar. Simply equip it and place it on the ground anywhere with 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (34) and the achievement will unlock.

    50

    Kill 2500 other players

This achievement will require you to be playing on a multiplayer server, whether it be your own private server or a public server. The best, and realistically the only way to get this achievement is to have someone help you boost. Ideally, that person could also be going for the "Meet Your Maker" achievement.

The simplest way to unlock this achievement would be to craft a few crossbows, several thousand bolts, and just kill your partner every time they respawn on their bed. One or two headshots should kill a person but you have to wait until the other person is fully respawned otherwise they will take no damage from the bolt.

    (1)

This achievement is very straightforward but will require a decent amount of time to unlock. The achievement requires you to travel 1000 kilometers on land. Whether it’s a glitch or something the developers intended, the game doesn’t track distance traveled by swimming.

While exploring you might find the blueprint for the Minibike, which will help you immensely when traveling around the map, since even the slowest bike is still a good bit faster than the player can run. Also with the bike you don’t have to worry about riding at night since you can simply outrun any zombies that comes after you. It is worth noting, however, that running into zombies with the bike will damage it. This achievement is cumulative, so you don’t have to worry about trying to do all of it on one character. After you have traveled 1000KM, the achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (45)

    Meet Your Maker

    25

    Die 500 Times

    (2)

This achievement is very self-explanatory. All you have to do is die 500 times. Your death can be caused by anything, from starving, zombies, other players, or falling from great heights. If you have a friend who is trying to get the "Alexander the Great" achievement, then you can simply just let them kill you and just watch TV while pressing the 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (46) to make your character respawn.

Alternatively, if you don’t have a way of boosting with someone, then you can load up a map of your own, craft at least 50 wood frames, build a tower straight up, make a platform at the top with 2 blocks, place a bed down so you will respawn at the top, and then proceed to jump off the tower 500 times. The easiest way to do this method is to get a rubber band and wrap it around the 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (47) to pull it to the left. This will cause your character to walk to the left every time you respawn, so all you have to do is hit the 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (48) to make him respawn after he dies.

This achievement is cumulative and will track across all of your characters, so you don’t have to attempt to get this all on one character. After you have died 500 times, the achievement will unlock.

    The Picture of Good Health

    50

    Reached 200 in Wellness

    (6)

This achievement is probably the most complicated one in the game. The reason for this is because there is only a few ways to raise your wellness. You can raise your wellness by consuming items like cooked meats, tea, or vitamins. When you make a new character, your wellness will start out at “level” 100, and to increase it you will have to eat enough food to increase your wellness “xp”.

The amount of xp required between levels from 100-150 is only 2xp per level, and the xp required per level for 151-200 is 4. As you can’t gorge yourself in this game, you can only eat when your hunger is below 100% (except vitamins, these can be eaten at any time) and depending on how many points you have in the survivor perk, could take a while for your hunger to drain. However, this game does have a debuff that you can use to your advantage to make your hunger drain faster. If you can find a freezing biome in your game, just stand there until you start to freeze. When your body temperature is between 11-31 degrees, your hunger will deplete faster. Just simply eat food to keep your hunger above 100% and you will eventually unlock this achievement.

    (9)

This achievement, while fairly time consuming (since it requires you to survive for nearly 21 hours in single player without dying), is actually not that hard. The easiest way to unlock it is to create a single player map, and in the settings change the zombie spawn to very low, zombies never run, day time 18 hours, and 24 hour cycle to 120 minutes. By doing this you will have 1.5 hours of in game daylight to work on other achievements or exploring and looking for loot. Then come night time, if you don’t want to risk getting killed by a zombie because they become stronger at night, you can just hole up in your house with the doors closed and watch TV until it becomes day time again.

If you do hole up in your house at night, be sure you turn off your campfire, otherwise zombies will sense it and try to break into the house. If you want someone to help you, then you can also turn on another controller and play splitscreen with them. After you have survived for 1250 minutes real time, this achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (61)

    On Top of the World

    10

Get up to the 255 meter height in a game

    (11)

This achievement, while a bit misleading, is actually very simple to get. What you have to do is get up to the highest possible point in the game, which is 252 meters from bedrock. Elevation wise, the highest point in the game is 194 meters of elevation. The easiest way to obtain this achievement is to cut down a few trees and craft about 220 wood frames.

After all of them are done crafting, just find the tallest hill you can find and start jumping and placing the blocks below you by clicking 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (62) at the height of your jump. While doing this, take your time a bit because if you try to place blocks to fast, the game might register that you are inside one of the blocks and throw you off the tower. Once you’re at the very top of the world, and you will know you are because you will be unable to place anymore blocks, the achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (63)

    Dig Deep

    10

Get down to 3 meters or bedrock in a game

    (1)

This achievement is very easy to obtain, especially if you have iron or steel tools. Unlike Minecraft, there is no lava for you to worry about, so if you want, you can just dig straight down until you hit bedrock. You will know you’re at bedrock because it will make a weird, melodic sound when struck with anything. Once you hit bedrock, the achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (64)

    The Polar Bare Club

    10

Be naked, feels like temperature 0° or lower, and 100% wet

    (2)

To obtain this achievement, it’s best to find a snow biome that is near a body of water. You will also need to make some red tea, which is made at a campfire (that has a cooking pot) using Bottled Water and Chrysanthemums. Once you have your tea, make your way to the snow biome, take off all of your clothes (a cowboy hat can be worn to make your temperature drop faster, but must be taken off to unlock the achievement), jump in the water, then go sit in the shade in the snow.

When your temperature gets down to 5 degrees, take the hat off if you’re wearing one, drink your red tea, and wait until your temperature hits 0. If you are crouching in snow your wetness won’t drop, but you will have to wait for it to get to 100% if you wore a cowboy hat. Once your body temperature hits 0, your wetness is 100% and if you are wearing no form of clothing or armor, the achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (65)

    Dirty Larry

    10

    Kill 44 punks with a 44 magnum

    (5)

This achievement is slightly luck based as to how fast you will unlock it. The achievement requires you to kill 44 zombies with the 44 magnum. First, you have to acquire a 44 magnum, which requires you to get lucky and find the Enforcer Magazine so that you unlock the blueprint to make the 44 magnum. After you have the blueprint, you then have to find all 4 parts (the frame, cylinder, parts, and grip). Once you have them, just go into your inventory, click 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (66) on any of them to select the item, then click 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (67) to assemble the parts, doing so will bring up a different crafting menu which you will have to drag all the different parts into their respective spots.

After you have your gun, now you have to craft some bullets for it. To craft 44 magnum bullets you have to acquire the perk for crafting them which requires 40 gunsmithing. Crafting bullet tips requires you to have a forge with an anvil inside, and if you don’t have any bullet casings, then you also need calipers (which can’t be crafted, but have to be found in working stiff crates). Once you have some bullet tips and casings, you will need some gunpowder, it takes 1 bullet tip, 1 case, and 3 gunpowder to make 1 bullet. After you have made about 100 44 magnum bullets just go out and kill zombies. After you have killed 44 zombies with your 44 magnum, this achievement will unlock.

  • 7 Days to Die Achievement Guide & Road Map (68)

    Break your leg

As it says in the description, to unlock this achievement you simply have to break your leg. To do this, either build a wooden tower about 15 blocks high or find a building and jump off it (this will more than likely just cause you to sprain your leg). To actually break your leg, just do it again. Once your legs are broken, this achievement will unlock.
